relationship based care…

As a primary care physician, my journey in medicine has been driven by a deep-rooted passion for helping others and making a tangible difference in people's lives. I am Dr. Brie Romines, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado and my medical degree from the University of Iowa. I completed residency in family medicine at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. I am certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, My current practice, Ora Family Medicine, opened in 2024 within the direct primary care model of medicine.

I place immense value on the patient-doctor relationship, recognizing its pivotal role in delivering personalized and comprehensive care. Operating within the direct primary care model allows me to prioritize quality time with each patient, fostering trust, open communication, and a deep understanding of their needs, concerns, and aspirations. This patient-centered approach enables me to develop holistic and individualized treatment plans tailored to each person.

While the traditional medical insurance model has an important role in healthcare, I understand the limitations and frustrations imposed by this model, where decisions can be influenced by financial considerations rather than what is best for each person. By practicing direct primary care, I am free from these constraints, utilizing my education and knowledge to focus on prevention, root-cause analysis, and long-term wellness strategies. My goal is to address underlying issues, promote proactive health measures, and prevent illness and chronic medical conditions, ultimately promoting well-being and longevity in my patients' lives.
